Favorite Book: This is like trying to pick a favorite star in the sky - there are so many!  I love the Pawn of Prophecy series by David Eddings, Dragon Prince series by Melanie Rawn, Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley, Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey, Arrows of the Queen by Mercedes Lackey and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin.
Why I am a Teacher:  I like the idea of doing something different every day.  Even if I am teaching the same idea, things change from one class to the next.  I love reading and learning and I want to pass on that enthusiasm for learning to others. 
Hidden Talent:  While I'm not an expert, I can hold my own on any instrument while playing Rock Band.

Hobbies: Reading, baking, video games, puzzles, cross stitch, photography, scrapbooking, watching sports, basic gardening. I like to try different things.
Favorite Food: Garlic bread
Favorite Musician: I don't usually notice who is singing/performing.  I like musicals and movie soundtracks along with most styles of music on the radio.
Favorite Author: See favorite books, also - Robert Jordan, Orson Scott Card, and Edgar Allan Poe.
Favorite Destination: I love to travel, so really anywhere I haven't been before.
Siblings: sister Debbie, brother-in-law Aaron and brother Jake
Who you look up to: My sister Debbie and my mother
Favorite Get Away: I have loved seeing New York, Chicago, Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas and San Diego, but my favorite escape is when I get caught up in a really great story.
